The Way
of Faith. These words may appear presumptuous. Pundits contend that
faith of any sort, as long as it fits into the broad category of faith,
will do for the human need of faith. No matter the package or focus, as
long as it is considered to be faith then it receives the prevailing
culture's stamp of approval. So faith - as a religious conviction or
belief or way of thinking or state of mind - comes in a variety of
packages. For some faith exclusively relates to God. For others it
focuses upon oneself. Some place faith in acts of devotion. Still others
develop their own belief system unrelated to historical expressions of
faith. Faith inevitably reveals itself in worship of a deity, a way of
life, a guiding philosophy, or an object(s).
To talk about faith may not be unusual. But to talk about
the way of faith narrows the subject considerably. As a matter of fact,
the way of faith excludes other faith expressions. Admittedly, the way
of faith can be explained in a variety of ways through multiple venues
but it has essential elements without which the way of faith cannot be
grasped.
That's what this website is about. It does not claim to be
the only medium that explains the way of faith - a look at
the links will make that quite clear. But it does claim to address the
only way of faith that is sufficient for life and
eternity.
The wayoffaith.org
seeks to discuss faith in God the Creator through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We realize that thousands of different faith expressions exist in the
world. However, this site contends that every human has a deep need for
faith in God, and that only through
Jesus Christ - the crucified and resurrected Son of God - can this faith
be found.
Will you take the time to investigate the way of faith found in Jesus
Christ? You might want to begin by reading
The Way of Faith, an explanation of the Christian message called
"the gospel." You will also find material to help you think
about God's nature, about yourself, and about Jesus Christ. Why do you
even need to think about God or about your need for faith? Why do you
need to consider Christianity's claims? What does it mean to be a
Christian? Is there a difference in
being called Christian and being a Christian? You will find links to
help you probe these issues. How does
Christianity answer its detractors? How does Christianity compare to
other prominent faith expressions? Again, the
buttons on the sidebars will help you to investigate these questions.
This site will be a work in progress for quite some time
since we intend to regularly add new material. We hope that you will
frequent this site often, and on each occasion find it to be helpful.
Feel free to contact us at

related to the way of faith.
